Pérouges is a medieval walled village perched on a small hill that overlooks the plain of the river Ain. This village is classified among the « Most Beautigul Villages of France » wich makes it one of the most touristic places in the area.
It’s an ancient city of weavers, whose double walled enclosure disappeared in the 18th century.
Pérouges is a village full of old stories and you could see it thanks to the monuments based. For exemple, there is the "Maison des Princes", the "Résidence des Comtes de Savoie", the museum "Vieux Pérouges" or the "Maison des Arts Contemporains ».
